Shoutin' Out and Fightin' Back by Mama O'Shea

Mama O' Shea (STILL)
Shoutin' Out and Fightin' Back in Cyberspace

Mama O'Shea was a radio pioneer and mentor for many of us. She hosted a call-in show, "Shoutin' Out With Mama O'Shea," on KPFA every Friday afternoon for nearly 25 years, then was fired without explanation or apology.

Mama passed away in 1998, but we still remember her with great love over KPFA airwaves every year around her birthday, March 8(International Women's Day). We hope to continue to make Mama's unique voice available on this page to commemorate her passion, life, and humor.

We will be adding audio to this site. Please check back often. We'll dig you later!
